VLL: Language Lab Intensive: Valencia - March 2027

from $500.00

March 7 – March 13, 2027 | 7 Days / 6 Nights
Presented by VIVA LA LENGUA

Stop studying Spanish. Start living in it.

You've done the apps, the classes, the flashcards. You understand more than you can say. The Language Lab is the week that closes that gap. Ten students MAX, one city, and one rule: from Monday morning, we speak Spanish.

Mornings, you'll learn in a small, closed class with a certified teacher at our partner school in Valencia. Afternoons, the city becomes your classroom: real missions you complete in Spanish, from the stalls of the Mercado Central to a paella fire in the Albufera rice fields. Nights, you'll come home to a Valencian host family and a table where English isn't on the menu.

In March, Valencia is counting down to Fallas, its biggest festival. Every afternoon at 2pm the city stops for the mascletà, a thunder of fireworks you feel in your chest. You'll learn the words for all of it, and use them.

Our teachers handle the grammar. We handle everything grammar can't.

Your week:

Day 1 · Sun, Mar 7 · Llegada. Meet your host family, walk the old town, and sign the pacto de lengua at our Cena de Lenguas welcome dinner.

Day 2 · Mon, Mar 8 · El mercado. Class, the mascletà, then the Mercado Central, where you shop for the group in Spanish.

Day 3 · Tue, Mar 9 · El Turia. Class, a bike ride through the Turia gardens to the City of Arts and Sciences, and an evening intercambio with Valencians.

Day 4 · Wed, Mar 10 · La Albufera. Class, then a paella class in Spanish where the dish was born, and a sunset boat on the lagoon.

Day 5 · Thu, Mar 11 · Cabanyal & valencià. Class, horchata in Alboraya, a Valencian mini-lesson, and a tapas crawl where you do all the ordering.

Day 6 · Fri, Mar 12 · Presentación final. Your final talk, your certificate, a 1:1 session with your teacher, and our farewell dinner.

Day 7 · Sat, Mar 13 · Hasta pronto. Closing circle and airport transfers.
